Our Board of Directors champion the importance of exceptional board leadership and believe that each and every organization needs a strong and effective board to fully realize its potential for good. In addition to the standard roles and responsibilities of a board member, our board members are active advocates and ambassadors for The Ruth Collective and are fully engaged in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for The Ruth Collective to advance its mission
Ambassador Ruth
Ambassador Ruth will support The Ruth Collective to help develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost volunteer recruitment efforts, but also help increase brand visibility, raise awareness, and promote donor engagement.
An Ambassador Ruth is a Companion Ruth, but also part of our Ruth Recruitment Team. Ambassador Ruth’s are storytellers and have strong social media skills. They will assist with developing a recruitment plan, assist the Director of Volunteers in recommending volunteer training needs, and implementing the plan.
Social Media Marketing Intern
The Social Media Marketing Intern will support The Ruth Collective staff to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand visibility, volunteer recruitment, awareness, and donor engagement. The Intern will be responsible for social media marketing, content creation, digital marketing, and communication tasks under the guidance of the Chief of Staff.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on people's lives, and on The Ruth Collective. As a remote, unpaid, internship, it is a flexible position where you have the ability to set your own schedule to meet content-driven timelines and schedule.
Companion Ruth
The Companion Ruth position involves assisting individuals traveling who are out-of-state for healthcare by organizing program services with other Ruths and resources and ensuring their emotional and mental well-being is supported. We are actively recruiting multiple Ruths, nationwide. This is a flexible, remote, unpaid, volunteer position.
